AURA STYLE — PRIVACY POLICY

AURA – Your Personal AI Stylist (“App”) places great importance on users’ privacy and the security of personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is collected, used, and protected when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

To provide personalized style recommendations, our app may process the following types of data:

  • Visual Data (Camera and Gallery): Photos you upload or take to analyze items in your wardrobe and to perform face analysis.

  • Physical Attributes: Data you enter such as height, weight, and body measurements to personalize outfit recommendations.

  • Usage Data: Your in-app preferences (style modes, favorite outfits).

2. Purpose of Data Use

Collected data is used only for the following purposes:

  • Categorizing clothing items and performing style analysis using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.

  • Providing style recommendations that match your face shape and skin tone.

  • Creating and managing your personal wardrobe inventory.

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Device-Based Storage (Local Storage/IndexedDB): AURA operates with a “Local First” principle. The clothing photos you upload, the outfits you create, and your body measurements are stored only on your device. Neither we nor third parties can directly access this data.

  • Data Transmission: Uploaded images are sent only for analysis through a secure server bridge (Proxy) to the AI Service Provider (Google Gemini API). After processing is complete, images are not permanently stored on AI servers.

4. Third-Party Services

Our app uses AI technologies for analysis and generating style recommendations.

  • Google Gemini API: Google’s AI service is used for visual and text analysis. While your data is processed by this service, it is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and data processing terms.

5. Permissions

To function fully, the app requests the following permissions:

  • CAMERA: To take new clothing photos or selfies for face analysis.

  • STORAGE (READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): To select photos from the gallery and save analyzed data to the device.

  • INTERNET: To send data to the AI service for analysis.

6. User Rights and Data Deletion

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it.

  • You can delete clothing items or outfits using the “Delete” buttons in the app.

  • If you uninstall the app or clear the app data (Cache/Data), all stored data is permanently deleted.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our app is not intended for children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
